OUR MISSION
The Jamaican Olympic Ice Hockey Federation / Jamaican Olympic Ice Hockey Team (JOIHF/JOIHT) is a public benefit, not-for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the country of Jamaica as well as the State of Colorado, USA, and a United States 501(c)3 nonprofit exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
ORGANIZATION MISSION
The SPECIFIC short-term purpose of JOIHF is to assemble a competitive team of Jamaican ice hockey players to participate in the 2018 Winter Olympics.
The OVERALL mission and long-term purpose of JOIHF is:

To provide opportunities for athletes seeking to compete and enhance their skills within the sport of ice hockey in Jamaica, the Caribbean and West Indies

To establish, fund and carry on programs for the development of Ice Hockey

To assist with and promote the development of sporting facilities and activities for Ice Hockey in Jamaica, the Caribbean and West Indies

To develop opportunities for Youth Programs, Women’s Ice Hockey, Curling, Figure Skating, Speed Skating and just plain “learn to skate” programs
